Foreign Workers Benefit While American Citizens Lose Jobs Under Biden-Harris
The August jobs report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics has raised serious concerns about the state of the U.S. labor market under the Biden-Harris administration. According to the report, 1.3 million native-born Americans lost their jobs last month, while 635,000 foreign-born workers were hired. This disparity has led to sharp criticism from conservatives, who argue that current policies are failing American workers.
Former President Donald Trump called the report a “disaster” for U.S. citizens, stating that foreign nationals are benefiting from the administration’s open-border policies. “We’re seeing jobs that should go to Americans being taken by foreign workers,” Trump said.
Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) shared Trump’s concerns, pointing out that illegal immigration is driving down wages and making it harder for American citizens to find work. “This report shows that the administration’s policies are hurting American families,” Lee said.
The report also revealed that 438,000 full-time jobs were lost in August, while 527,000 part-time positions were created. Many of these part-time jobs lack the benefits that full-time positions provide, making it difficult for American families to achieve financial stability.
As inflation continues to rise, the loss of full-time jobs is leaving many Americans in a precarious financial situation. Critics argue that the Biden-Harris administration’s policies are prioritizing foreign-born workers over native-born citizens.
Conservatives are calling for immediate changes to U.S. labor and immigration policies to protect American workers and ensure they have access to stable, well-paying jobs.
